Events and Networking It may sound cliché, but one of the most valuable benefits of your membership is the ability to network with and learn from fellow members. It is almost impossible to leave an LLSSA Event without several "nuggets of knowledge" gleaned from fellow members. Regional Meeting are held quarterly. LLSSA Annual Convention Third week in November, a Golf Tournament is held to benefit the Children of Police & Fire Officials Scholarship Fund. Fairly new event -LLSSA Blood Drive in the bloodmobile, all donations are stored for LLSSA Members. The evening begins with a Parade with Mr. Gator, Sparky & the Color Guard followed by a Jazz Band and plenty of world renowned Louisiana’s Cajun & Creole food.
