National Training School
Explore the definitive-source for training and certification for the security industry. The National Training School (NTS) is the training provider most recognized to meet licensing requirements for the electronic life safety and security industry in the United States. Events and Networking
It may sound cliché, but one of the most valuable benefits of your membership is the ability to network with and learn from fellow members. It is almost impossible to leave an LLSSA Event without several "nuggets of knowledge" gleaned from fellow members. Regional Meeting are held quarterly. Shreveport, Monroe, Lafayette, Baton Rouge & New Orleans.
LLSSA Annual Convention
Third week in November, a Golf Tournament is held to benefit the Children of Police & Fire Officials Scholarship Fund. Plus, a full day of Free CEU’s for Members along with a State Meeting and Round Table Discussion with the State Fire Marshal’s Office. Fairly new event -LLSSA Blood Drive in the bloodmobile, all donations are stored for LLSSA Members. The evening begins with a Parade with Mr. Gator, Sparky & the Color Guard followed by a Jazz Band and plenty of world renowned Louisiana’s Cajun & Creole food. The show has over 70 vendors with the latest equipment and you have a chance to win loads of prizes during the event. Vendors & Dealers can register online.
National/State Apprenticeship Program
LLSSA/ESA's federally-recognized apprenticeship program addresses the industry's need to remain competitive by investing in the development, and continually upgrading, the skills of the electronic security industry workforce.

Emergency Access Program
Pegasus Program is the first national collaborative solution securely linking private industry and emergency responders with government, law enforcement, and host organizations to expedite reentry after an emergency or crisis to support recovery of the community. LLSSA Members will be allowed to apply to the program at a discounted rate as private sector essential personnel likely to need access to the community/ area after a crisis or emergency. In addition to our Association's Legislative Committee, memebers approved hiring a full time lobbyist in 2000.
