Tangipahoa Parish and FireModule office Notice

We have received this notice from FireModule and signed by the Tangiphahoa Parish Fire Prevention Chiefs
Official Notice
Effective June 29th, 2026, all fire departments within Tangipahoa Parish require fire and life safety system inspection,
testing, and maintenance reports to be uploaded to the FireModule web-portal. The Parish departments adopted
FireModule to improve community safety through increased compliance of fire and life safety systems. FireModule is
designed to efficiently track and resolve past due and deficient systems, which benefits both community safety and
inspection companies operating in the area. All inspection companies performing work within Tangipahoa Parish
boundaries are obligated to comply.
Getting Started with FireModule
To begin submitting reports for your company, please complete the following steps:
- Get started by creating an account at this link
- Login and select “Submit Report”
- Follow the directions on the submission form to submit your first report
- If you have any questions, please review the inspector training video at this link and then feel free to contact FireModule at support@firemodule.io
New Reporting Requirements
- Required inspection reports, identified in the table below, need to be uploaded to FireModule within 7 days of the inspection date
- Inspection companies should submit deficiency repair reports as soon as possible. If customers refuse to update or fix deficiencies, please add a comment to your inspection submission so that we can prioritize those businesses for enforcement.
