Each August, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust hosts Auctions in August, a month-long online fundraising event that benefits nonprofit organizations across the region—including Anna 4 Paws, a valued partner of the Louisiana Life Safety & Security Association. LLSSA members have a unique opportunity this year to support a mission that directly protects the law enforcement K9 teams who help safeguard our communities.

Anna 4 Paws receives 100% of the funds raised from items donated in its name, making this one of the most direct and effective ways to contribute to the organization’s work. Donations can include gift cards, services, experiences, home goods, clothing, sports memorabilia, or other quality items that reflect the professionalism and generosity of our industry. Auction guidelines require a minimum value of $50 for gift cards and $100 for tangible items, making participation accessible for companies of all sizes. In the 2025 auction, Anna 4 Paws finished as the #1 nonprofit recipient of funds, demonstrating the strength of community support already behind this effort—and the opportunity to do even more this year.

For LLSSA members, supporting Anna 4 Paws is especially meaningful. Through our partnership with the organization, the association has helped expand access to K9 trauma kits for law enforcement agencies across Louisiana. These kits provide critical, field-ready medical supplies that can mean the difference between life and death for a working dog injured in the line of duty. Many of the same professionals who rely on our industry’s systems and services every day also rely on their K9 partners, and this program helps ensure those partners receive the care they deserve when seconds matter most.
